Happy Thanksgiving!

Our plans changed at the last minute. Hailey's down with the Chicken Pox, so we are staying home. We are going to the grocery store this morning to put together some sort of TG feast for the house. As long as I get my pumpkin pie, I'm still gonna be thankful though :)

It's a bright sunny day outside, but it's COLD. Glad I cut up more firewood yesterday. Time to go light a fire. I hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving. This blogging thing is harder than it looks... You think you have something to write about, then whatever you find yourself typing sounds dumb. Probably just like everything else, it'll get easier to write them in time.

Oh well, signing off for now.

Winds of Change

The winds of change are blowing again. I look back over the year behind me and my head spins at how quickly it passed. The trees have changed and most have lost their autumn colors already. Thanksgiving is two days away. Christmas is just over a month out. We've been at the new place almost two years now. Hailey is no longer a helpless infant. Josh is sixteen now and chompin at the bit to drive. Man how time flies.
